The journey

Four steps, one real consultation.

The questionnaire helps us understand whether a telehealth consultation may suit you. It never replaces the conversation with your GP.

  1. 01

    Check your eligibility

Answer a short, confidential questionnaire about what you are looking for and a few safety questions. It does not diagnose anything. It simply helps us point you to the right next step.

    • About 3 minutes
    • Confidential

    Book your consultation

If a telehealth consultation looks suitable, our team will help you book a time with a qualified Australian GP. You will receive a confirmation with everything you need to join.

    • A time that suits you
    • Pre-consultation information
  3. 03

    Speak with a GP

Your consultation is a real-time video conversation. Your GP will talk through your history, how things affect you day to day, and anything else that could be relevant. There is time for your questions too.

    • Real-time video consultation
    • Time for your questions
  4. 04

    Talk through next steps

Your GP will discuss what they think is appropriate for you. That could be advice, further assessment, a referral, ongoing monitoring, a management plan if it is deemed medically appropriate, or no treatment.

    • Clear next steps
    • Coordinated with your care, with consent

On the day

Join from wherever you feel comfortable.

You will receive a secure link before your consultation. Open it on a laptop, tablet or phone with a camera, a few minutes early, and your GP will join you.

What to expect at your first consultation

Setting expectations

What a consultation is, and what it is not.

We want you to know exactly what you are booking before you book it.

A consultation is

  • A real-time video conversation with a qualified Australian GP
  • Time to talk through your history and how things affect you now
  • A chance to ask questions and understand your options
  • Advice on appropriate next steps for your circumstances
  • Coordinated with your regular GP, if you would like that

A consultation is not

  • A questionnaire that decides anything on its own
  • A guarantee of any diagnosis, treatment or outcome
  • A replacement for your regular GP or emergency care
  • Suitable for every situation, as some people need in-person care
  • Something you are obliged to continue with afterwards

Before your consultation

What to have ready.

A little preparation helps you get the most from your time with the GP.

  • A quiet, private space

Somewhere you can talk openly, with a reliable internet connection and a camera.

  • Your identification

Photo ID and your Medicare card if you have one, so we can confirm who you are.

  • Your health history

A list of current medicines, past diagnoses and any previous reports or school reports you can find.

  • Your questions

Anything you want to ask. Writing it down beforehand makes it easier to remember.

Questions

About the process.

Still unsure how something works? Get in touch.

Is the questionnaire an assessment?

No. The questionnaire helps us understand whether a telehealth consultation may suit you. It does not diagnose ADHD or any other condition, and it does not determine whether any treatment will be recommended.

Will I see the GP on video?

Yes. Every consultation is a real-time video conversation with a qualified Australian GP. Nothing is decided from a form alone.

Can my regular GP be involved?

Yes, if you would like them to be. With your consent, we can share a summary of your consultation with your regular GP so your care stays coordinated.

How long is a consultation?

It depends on what you are looking for. An assessment may take longer than a review, and some assessments continue over more than one consultation. Our team will let you know what to allow for when you book.

Can someone join me on the call?

Yes. You are welcome to have a partner, family member or support person with you. Your GP will check who is present at the start of the consultation.

What device do I need?

A laptop, tablet or phone with a camera, a microphone and a stable internet connection. Headphones can help with privacy.

What if telehealth is not right for me?

Your GP may recommend an in-person assessment, a review with your regular GP, a specialist referral or other care. We will explain why and help you understand your options.
